MFDF are proud to announce that The Co-operative is the Official Retailer to the Manchester Food & Drink Festival 2007 Opened in July, the new Co-operative food store in the city centre caters for all customers with an emphasis on chilled and fresh foods, including products from The Co-operative Truly Irresistible and Healthy Living ranges and an extensive selection of chilled beers and wines, including some of The Co-operative’s award-winning Fairtrade wines. Ideally located next to the Printworks retail and leisure complex and opposite Urbis, the store is open from 6am to 10pm on Monday through to Thursday, 6am to midnight on Fridays and Saturdays and from 8am to 10pm on Sundays. The Co-operative gives its customer members a share of its profits in cash, based on their trade with all its businesses, including food stores, travel, pharmacy and funeral outlets, as well as the Co-operative Bank and Co-operative Insurance (CIS). Membership costs just £1 and members can choose to keep the twice-yearly payouts or donate all or part of them to local worthy causes.
